Frantoio Di Santa Téa Verde Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Producer: The Gonnelli Family
Since 1585, the Gonnelli family has been cultivating olive trees, now totaling 43,000, in central Italy’s Tuscany region and producing some of the most sought-after olive oils in the world. Their hand-tended olive trees include the six primary olive varietals grown in the region: Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo, Correggiolo, Leccino del corno and Pendolino, allowing the company to offer a wide variety of extra virgin olive oils that includes mono- and multi-varietals revered in Italy and around the world for their flavor and health benefits.
Area: Tuscany, Italy

Tasting Notes: An elegant, well-balanced olive oil with an intense fresh olive aroma and notes of artichoke and wild herbs; full-bodied and flavorful thanks to the Tuscan favorite Frantoio olive, which adds some spice, and the Correggiolo olive, which contributes to the oil’s smooth buttery mouthfeel and distinct back of the palate peppery taste.
Panzanella (Italian Bread Salad), a marinated bread salad made with crusty Tuscan-style bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, olives and fresh basil is our absolute favorite way to use Santa Téa Verde.
